Buckeye Burl grows amidst the root structure of the tree, causing dirt and rocks to leave cavities in the wood. A balance of geometry contrasts the free-formed open spaces. Colorful, well finished wood contrasts the rustic, rough walled cavities. The sculpture is well balanced and rotates nicely upon the black marble base.
