The beautiful Red Gum trees of Australia can develop incredible burl growths upon them. The dark voids throughout the wood are a characteristic of its growth structure, and are not the result of insect infestation or decay. The wood is heavy, hard, and shows a varying tone of reddish orange that lightens towards the outermost regions of the burl. Stands 21 inches tall.
